We're already on our way; I have a feeling that traveling with MS-3 is like being stuck on a long car trip with a hyperactive little kid.

I guess I can carefully note that this updates on Fridays now!

You were right about Dr. Smetmef. I trust he is good but really, interacting and doing something else totally changes Jeff's mood. Actually, it is pretty cool because he totally switches when on a mission or around supportive friends like that and then it is back to absent looking Jeff in the clinic. How much is he acting tough? No idea. I like him so damn much.

Haha! That new AI version at least provides a cheerful and talkative partner!

Btw, the usual hues of purple used for skies and backgrounds really give the planet a distinct look. Slightly "what the future holds" feel as well...

More like, it updates on Fridays because I was late getting the page in. ;-)

I like Jeff as well.
I just made the realization about this comic that Jeff's depression and personality quirks are really a huge part of it's charm.
I now have some new direction for the promo pieces that I've had floating around in my head. Thanks for your inadvertant help on that M'jak. ;-)

And thanks for your comment about the colours.
It mostly comes from the urging of Ian to keep the landscapes alien. Those "stars" that you see in the sky are not actually stars, they are … space garbage, as I understand.
Lots of thought put into this comic. :-D

Ha I didn't even notice, honestly. I can't keep up with the days myself anymore...

But yes, these are some of your finest colors! I'm sleep deprived right now and listening to an old favorite that seems to synergize with our depictions of Supirion's cosmology, and those hues set the perfect mood.

Sure thing! Show me when you have the promo pics, OK?

There is simply a lot to guess about the round guy and he is not someone else for the sake of being someone else or to hide something. Jeff is Jeff and he experiences life but cannot do it alone. Often such characters have more charm (at least to me) than complex characters because in the end we are not that special or complex ourselves. Jeff is straightforward with no overreaching and author imposed ambitions.

You're right! Jeff's work is his therapy. I've found myself talking to people lately about how a lot of people's sense of self-worth gets bound up in what they do; that would be fine if they could be great at that thing forever, but sometimes it doesn't work out and they find themselves in crisis. Jeff all over.

Those are some lovely colors, ain't they?

Yeah. I know therapists are pros and I know they DO help but the realization of what you are saying is what helped ME and plenty of others as well. Breathe life, struggle, but there are other cool people around you, you often do not see and in the end the struggle is what improves you.

You're singing my song! Pain passes; life carries on.

Have a latte! LOL
I love that you miss some dialogue on the pages that I colour so that I can be surprised when I read them live. ;-)
You're very thoughtful that way.
XD

Looks like poor Jeff has to not only put up with MS-3, but also Causeway. No wonder he's depressed. :-o

Look at that cocky stance Causeway has going on.
You depict him perfectly. :-)

Ha sure! "thoughtful," and not just the contrary at all!

I like to think Causeway is equal parts Bugs Bunny, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Mick Jagger.
