I can't believe there's nothing funny on this page at all. Oh, also, I'm like a month late. I promise I'll try harder to not do a good job. Anyway, even by Jeff standards, Jeff has a lot on his mind here, and it's only going to get worse...

Ah yeah! Classic! Go play while Mommy talks to this guy. Heh :D
At least here it is kind of obvious for a long time how it is.

I am not sure I get it but Jeff is Jeff. I mean, what is his objective here? To feel even worse? Let's face it: That is probably how it is going to be in a few pages and that will also be square[0] for him again. Once again :/
I know he means well and is MAYBE oblivious of the whole situation to some degree but... turn around and find some else. Hm.

Yeah, Jeff is the textbook case of "easier said than done," or perhaps "easier done for anyone else with a bit more sense."

I still think Jeff is a sensible person though. He is just dealt terrible cards all the time and cannot improvise with them, haha.
Let's face it: He could have ended in a worse state not willing to do absolutely anything. Hm.
Does that make sense?

That is true. Seems like when he does do something, it's not always the thing to do! Unless it's work; at least that keeps his mind busy.

"Seems like when he does do something, it's not always the thing to do!"
Yup. I guess that is the difference sometimes between life and work.
At work you can simply sit down with the person and go over their skills and interests again and ask them if there is another project they would like to work on or different team members or such. One thing to master is how to say it because people tend to freak out in a "they are going to fire me" way but anyone can be refocused since skills are not lost all of a sudden. Just change in thinking and that can be solved!
Jeff at least has the job to kick monster butt.

But life? You cannot exactly just stand up and pick a different partner. What happened is still in the category that is better left behind and he should move on.
